“Now a major part of scientific research in mechanical engineering is not running code - it's setting up the problem and diagnostic elements. It's also something can be and need to be learned at a younger age. This will change the students' understanding and learning in science and engineering.Moreover, the process is not very difficult. The idea would be to run code using openfoam (which the students can access and install). The material will essentially build up to the case of running simulations of a rocket engine and space reentry craft.”
